We're at the Dolce conference center in the woods of Norwalk, CT. This year we've added another breakout track to offer more education, and are offering tabletop exhibit space now. Finally, our start time is moved back to 11 a.m. to give those traveling from New York an extra hour.
Conference for metro-NY including New York City; Suffolk & Nassau Counties, NY; and Fairfield County, CT
Modeled after the three-state Southern New England Conference recently held in Newport, RI, this is a one-day program with easy access (1.5 hours or less) from most points in the metro-NY region. It's open, however, to any interested heating fuel company in the country, and specifically to the members of the co-sponsoring associations: Connecticut Energy Marketers Association, New York Oil Heating Association, and the Oil Heat Institute of Long Island.
The eight counties represented by the conference (Fairfield, CT; New York, Kings, Richmond, Queens, Bronx, Suffolk and Nassau, NY) constitute one of the most dense heating fuel regions in the country, comprising 1,307,814 homes heated with fuel oil according to the U.S. Census (not including commercial accounts), and about a billion gallons of heating oil, of which 50 million gallons will be biodiesel.
